How is a concert by Los Carosones?

Thanks to the diversity of Renato Carosone’s production, the show plays many music styles in vogue in Italy in the second post-war period.

The show is divided into two parts:

  • The story of the mutual influence between North American and Italian music through Jazz, Swing and Blues songs. From Renato Carosone, to Fred Buscaglione and Jula de Palma plus pieces by Louis Prima: a testimony of the close link between the New Orleans Jazz in the twentieth century and Italian style at the dawn of the that musical genre.
  • the Mediterranean repertoire of Renato Carosone linked to South American rhythms: Mambo, Samba, Cha cha cha, Calypso, Cumbia. And also songs by other famous Italian artists of the time (such as Marino Marini and Bruno Martino) and songs by Xavier Cugat, a multifaceted Spanish artist and ambassador of Latin music in the world.
